Most visitors focus on the waterfall climb, but the surrounding park offers several distinct areas to explore. You can relax where the river meets the sea or keep young children entertained in the gardens.
Admission to the park grounds is included with your standard entry fee ($25 USD for non-resident adults). The park is open daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

This white-sand beach sits right where the freshwater river empties into the Caribbean Sea. It is an ideal place to relax after finishing your climb. You will experience a distinct mix of warm seawater and cool river water. Plan to spend about an hour here.

This is a safe water play area designed specifically for younger children. It is perfect for families with kids who do not meet the 36-inch (91.4 cm) height requirement for the main climb. The area offers plenty of space for toddlers to splash around safely.

The market features local vendors selling wood carvings, t-shirts, and Jamaican souvenirs. Vendors here can be quite persistent when trying to make a sale. A polite but firm 'no thank you' works well if you do not want to shop.
